With restrictions on home deliveries across the big supermarkets in place (and pretty much everybody being told to stay home), more options for home-delivered groceries is nothing but welcome.

South Aussie food distributor Galipo Foods typically delivers to fish and chip shops, hotels and restaurants, but now for the first time, will be delivering groceries to people’s front doors.

The new service is called “Galipo at Home” and is being launched in the face of unprecedented demand for essential items at supermarkets.

You can expect to see fruit & veg, meat and all your typical supermarket items available for delivery, with contactless delivery on all orders.

The minimum order is $150, with metro delivery being charged at $4.95.
