I can see it already; slow-motion running through the rows of apple trees, a long floral dress flowing behind you, a basket of Pink Lady apples full to the brim…

…okay, I’m definitely getting ahead of myself but it’s still a wholesome picture.

This weekend the Adelaide Hills will be alive with the sound of…apple picking. Harrisville Orchards in Lendswood are bringing back their popular ‘Pick A Pink Lady’ event and it’s this weekend!

Harrisville apples are the apple champs, consistently winning at the Royal Adelaide Show for over twenty years.

On Saturday 1 May and 2 May from 9:00am to 4:00pm, you can frolic through the rows of vibrant apple trees and fill your basket with juicy Pink Lady’s for a snack or putting your baking skills to the test for some apple pie, apple strudel, or apple tea cake.

And if you happen to see a strange person frolicking in slow-motion with a flowing dress, I swear it’s not me.
