Flinders University has advised students and staff that its Sturt Campus has been closed for deep cleaning after a positive test for COVID-19 was returned.

The university were advised that a student of an independent English Language provider had attended a class on the university’s Sturt campus.

As yet, no Flinders staff or students have been identified as close contacts and there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 among staff or students as yet.

Flinders Uni has advised that all staff and students work from home until 8am on Monday 23rd November, unless otherwise notified.

Those who experience any symptoms are being urged to get themselves tested.

News of the case could raise concerns for the virus’s spread throughout Adelaide, with the campus located around 30km to the south Parafield origin and over 13km from the Adelaide CBD.
