Premier Steven Marshall has moved to assure South Australians that there is no shortage of the flu vaccine as we head toward flu season.
A spike in demand for flu shots has, however, seen the vaccines already become hard to get a hold of.
Premier Marshall told the ABC that while more South Australians are seeking to get vaccinated against the flu earlier this year, he understands that South Australia has ordered “more flu vaccines than even last year.”
“The pattern of people going to get the flu vaccine has completely changed this year. But my understanding is that we’ve got plenty of flu vaccines.”

People are being urged by health authorities across the country to get vaccinated for the flu early this year, in an attempt to ease the burden on the health system.
