Tjindu (pronounced Jin-Doo) for many Aboriginal language groups across South Australia, is the word for the sun, or sunshine.

And that is exactly what the Tjindu aim to achieve, “to create opportunities for the growth and development of Aboriginal Children and Young people.”

Literally, rising them up, and supporting them to achieve bright futures!

The foundation also focuses on building intercultural understanding and achieving greater reconciliation through workshops and other programs for the non-indigenous community.
