More of South Australia’s popular travel vouchers will be made available from later this morning, as the state’s ailing tourism industry continues its recovery after a pandemic-disrupted 2020.
The second round in SA’s ‘Great State’ travel voucher scheme will be rolled out from 11am this morning, with registrations to take place online.
The vouchers will give holidaymakers $100 to be used for getaways in the Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide, and $50 for stays in SA’s regions and Adelaide suburbs.
The first round of the scheme proved remarkably popular, with 50,000 vouchers snapped up within hours of them becoming available.
However, South Aussies might have to contend with a little more competition this time around, with the scheme being opened up to people from interstate.
The vouchers can be used for stays in SA between January 7 and March 31 this year.
