With the launch of their service between Melbourne and Sydney now in motion from March 1, Rex Airlines has announced a further three major domestic routes as part of their expansion.

The popular regional carrier will soon service:

  • Melbourne – Gold Coast from March 29
  • Melbourne – Adelaide from March 31
  • Sydney – Gold Coast from April 1
  • Brisbane – Melbourne after Easter

Rex Airlines has been putting pressure on other airlines due to its low fares and in-flight service promises.

Rex is selling seats for its Adelaide to Melbourne service, for just $69! With these low prices, it might push Jetstar, Virgin and Qantas to slash their prices on their flights.

“South Australia and Queensland have always benefited from Rex’s regional services that are renowned for reliability and great country hospitality at affordable fares,” said Rex Deputy Chairman John Sharp.

“Today, I am pleased to announce that these two States will, for the first time, be able to enjoy the same benefits for their domestic services.”
