Emergency services are tending to parts of the state after storms felled trees, sparked fires and caused flooding.
The State Emergency Services responded to around 110 emergency calls overnight.
Two intense storm fronts crossed over parts of Adelaide overnight, with a thunderstorm hitting the Adelaide coastline just after 11pm bringing with it lightning and some flooding.
Later, another storm crossed over Adelaide just before 6am.
Around 32,000 properties around the state were left without power due to storm damage, with SA Power Networks working to restore power throughout the night.
There are still localised outages around Adelaide and the state, the storms brought with them over 100,000 lightning strikes over the night.
Simon Timcke from the Bureau of Meteorology told Mix 102.3 that the worst of the weather has now passed.
“We’re pretty close to the back edge of it now, so I think within one or two hours all of that will have contracted to the east.”
