Feeling cold this morning? You’re not alone, South Australia has woken up to its coldest morning morning in 75 years.

Adelaide’s West Terrace Bureau of Meteorology station recorded a minimum overnight temperature of 0.9°C at 5:21am this morning.

The previous record was set on June 24, 1944, when the mercury hit a low of just 0.8°C.

Across the state, it got down to a low of -2.2°C at Kadina, Keith and in the state’s South East, while Yunta recorded SA’s coldest minimum temperature with a freezing -4.4°C.

There is however, no rain expected for the rest of the week, with sunny or mostly sunny conditions being forecast until the weekend.
