South Australians are being told to brace for a record-breaking burst of spring heat today, with temperatures set to increase across the state.

The Bureau of Meteorology has also issued a Severe Weather Warning for dangerous wind gusts of up to 90KM/H form the Tasman Sea.

In Adelaide, the winds all see temperatures rise from a low of 17 up to 31C today, which would see the city’s hottest September day ever recorded.

Get your sunscreen out, Adelaide!
