An Adelaide venue has been slapped with a $5,000 fine for failing to comply with COVID-19 restrictions.
The nightclub, located on North Tce received a tip-off by a member of the public about a lack of social distancing in the venue.
In a video, punters are seen dancing next to each other, with little regard for social distancing guidelines in place for Adelaide nightspots at the moment.
SAPOL have urged venues to consider their responsibilities in relation to enforcing distancing during the pandemic.
South Australia Police have said that COVID Compliance teams will “out in force” this weekend, with the ability to hand out fines or court actions to licensees who are caught not complying with COVID rules.
