As adults, we probably shouldn’t be as excited about this as we are, but this is huge news for kids and big kids alike.

South Australia’s first certified LEGO store is opening this weekend at Westfield Marion.

The store will open its doors for the first time on Saturday at 9am, just in time for the kids’ Christmas pressies!

Other official LEGO stores are already open in Australia in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The Danish toy manufacturer is one of the few companies to have benefitted from the pandemic, with global revenue growing over the first-half of the year.

Revenue over the first half of 2020 jumped 14 per cent as those stuck at home turn to the building blocks to pass the time in lockdown.

Off the back of the good financial news, LEGO set about to open 120 stores in 2020 by the end of the year.

The new store will feature a Pick A Brick Wall, a Build-A-Minifigure play station and a digital box that brings your LEGO boxed set creations to life.
