Earlier this week, Jodie & Soda finally got to reveal their massive surprise for young Cooper.

If you haven’t met Coop yet, he’s the 12-year-old boy who made the massive decision to have his leg amputated so that he could get back to doing what he loves…playing basketball.

They were going to stage the most incredible comeback story, with Cooper returning to play basketball on the big stage. At the Adelaide Entertainment Centre against the 36ers.

This morning, Jodie & Soda caught up with Cooper’s mum Renee to hear what she, Cooper and the family have been feeling since they found out about the big game.

“This is going to be massive for Coop, I am still pinching myself. We can’t believe it,” Renee told Jodie & Soda before predicting that she would be crying when Cooper runs out on to Brett Maher Court for the first time.

Take a listen to Renee tell Jodie & Soda how she and Cooper are feeling ahead of the big game here…
