Olympic gold medalist Kyle Chalmers won’t be one of the All-Stars in this Thursday night’s game against the Adelaide 36ers.

The champion swimmer has been ruled out with a niggling shoulder injury, but that doesn’t mean that he won’t be in the stands cheering on his mate Sam Jacobs.

But Kyle is not so sure about Sam’s claim that he’ll be bringing out a dunk during the game.

Chalmers told Jodie and Soda that he follows Big Sauce down to Kadina every Friday night to watch him play basketball, but the All-Star Game is going to be an entirely different story.

“He definitely rates himself. He set himself up for a slam dunk when I was down in Kadina watching him the other week and he took some three point shots as well, but I think he does his damage in the paint under the boards,” Chalmers told Jodie and Soda.

“It will be interesting, it would be good to see him throw down a dunk, but against the 36ers boys I think he’s going to be in a bit of struggle.”
