Yesterday it was confirmed that Adelaide Oval has missed out on this year’s AFL Grand Final.
Barring another outbreak of COVID-19 in Queensland, the October 24 game will be played at the Gabba under lights for the first time ever.
Premier Steven Marshall put forward a spirited pitch spruiking Adelaide’s case, however, the state will have to be happy being the backup option.
