There are 25,000 footy fans at expected at Adelaide Oval on Monday night and the chief public health officer Professor Nicola Spurrier has asked each and every one of them to adhere to all social distancing and COVID-19 related rules.
Prof Spurrier has said that anybody who is considering attending the Crows-St Kilda match and felt unwell, should stay home.
“I know it would be disappointing, but we don’t want anyone here tomorrow night, even if it’s just a mildly sore throat or a bit of a runny nose.’
“Instead, go and get your COVID test done.’’
Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said officers would be ensuring patrons observed the 1.5m social distancing rules and they could issue $1000 fines under the Emergency Management Act if the rules were not followed.
