South Australia will ease it’s border restrictions with Victoria and will raise the gathering limits for homes.
A 40KM buffer zone that was previously in place will be reinstated on Friday.
‘’School students will be able to return to school in South Australia and businesses will be able to resume,” Premier Steven Marshall said.
The states home gathering limit will also be expanded from 20 to 50.
In addition, anyone travelling to South Australia from states and territories with open border arrangements – that is, Tasmania, Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory – will be allowed to transit through NSW without having to self-isolate.
