Families who have been caught short with their Ooshie collection will have a chance to complete their sets this weekend.
Woolworths has announced that participating stores across SA will host swap meets on Saturday between 10am and 2pm and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.
The news comes after Woolies announced that they would be ending their Ooshies promotion early, due to ‘unprecedented demand’.
The supermarket says that SA will be a trial case for the swap days before they are rolled out to the rest of the nation.
“In previous years, Woolworths has held swap days for its collectibles as a way to help customers complete their collection, however this year’s planned swap days initially cancelled due to COVID-19.,” Woolies said in a statement.
“The South Australia swap days will act as a trial for the supermarket to determine whether it will introduce similar swap days in other states and territories.”
Woolworths says that social distancing and hygiene measures will be in place to ensure traders’ safety.
