After the success of Stikeez and Little Shops, Coles looks to be going in a different direction for their next promotion.
The supermarket has announced an incentive for customers to get free food containers.
Shoppers can earn one container credit for every $20 they spend and there are five containers to collect.
The containers are said to be leak-proof, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, freezer safe and BPA free. They come in five sizes – 600ml, 1-litre, 1.2-litre, 1.4-litre, 1.5-lire – and there’s also a vacuum pump, which is free with five container credits.
The containers are made by Dutch company Royal VKB.
Customers will need a FlyBuys card to redeem and the promotion starts on Wednesday.
Mini collectables were a huge success at @Coles but the supermarket giant has come up with a new way to hook customers. It’s offering free plastic tubs on a points system a program it says is good for the environment. https://t.co/Opx5mXMt1O #7NEWS pic.twitter.com/2IZCg6B0I0
