Just past midnight last night, a family of six were pulled from their sleep when a huge explosion went off.
The police were called to Bauhinia Drive, Parafield Gardens where a homemade explosive device was planted and exploded in the front of a family home, shattering the front window.
Thankfully, none of the six family members was injured, however, they were unsurprisingly shaken up and had a sleepless night.
Grandmother Leng Ouk, 58, said all six family members at home were panicked when they heard the bang and saw the shattered glass.
“I couldn’t breathe, I ran outside,” Ms Ouk said to The Advertiser.
“I also couldn’t sleep at all that night, I was scared it could happen again.”
Investigations are ongoing however police believe this wasn’t a random incident. Whoever planted the bomb is unknown to the family.
