A military exercise dubbed Predator’s Run is to bring 2500 army personnel together in South Australia for a range of training scenarios.
The exercise will combine elements from infantry, armour, artillery, combat engineers, service support and signals at the Cultana Field Training Area in South Australia’s mid-north from Monday.
Locals have been warned to expect a build-up of military traffic in the area with the operation to run until September 28 and to include live-fire training.
Brigadier Matt Pearse says Predator’s Run will help the army’s 1st Brigade prepare for operational deployment and contingency tasks in 2019.

The exercise is also expected to inject $800,000 into the local economy over the four-week period.
