Streaming giant Netflix was hit by a major outage which caused about 125 million users around the world to collectively freak.
It’s unclear what caused the outage but, instead of being able to binge on films and TV shows, the only thing affected users were able to watch was an error message.
“Netflix error: this title is not available to watch instantly,” appeared on both the app and the website.
Netflix’s status page, which shows when the site is down, was also not working and failing to load.
Website Down Detector showed a huge spike in issues, coming from around the world, while editor-in-chief of streaming news site Exstreamist, Rob Toledo, called it the “biggest outage I’ve ever seen.”
People undergoing those problems took to Twitter to complain about the site and to joke that they now had nothing to do.
