The SA Ambulance centre has been evacuated following reports of a hazmat incident at the Greenhill Road headquarters.

Emergency operations staff were moved off-site temporarily after the MFS were called to the third floor of the centre.

A strong smell was reportedly noticed shortly after 10:15am this morning, crews spent the day attempting to find the source of the smell.

SA Ambulance has reassured South Australians that all staff were safe and that it has not impacted the centre’s ability to respond to triple-0 emergency calls.
