The Adelaide Football Club has acknowledged that Tyson Stengle has been involved in another “off-field matter” which has led to the young player being stood down.

The club released a statement this morning confirming that Stengle had been “stood down from all club duties effective immediately”.

No statement on the nature of the matter has been made as yet.

Stengle’s incident is the second off-field incident involving a young Crow to be acknowledged by the club in as many days.

On Sunday, Adelaide Football Club released a statement acknowledging that emerging young tall Josh Worrell was issued a fine for using a mobile phone while diving as well as having a low-level alcohol reading while driving on P-plates.

The club says that they are currently working with the AFL and AFL Players Association along with Stengle’s management on the matter.
