The key to success to most kids movies these days is to have the occasional adult joke to keep the parents interested as well.

While there weren’t many adult jokes (although, sadly, this immature reviewer did enjoy the fart sound effect and the nose picking reference), the acts were so impressive, people of all ages would have been engaged throughout.

What a talented bunch of performers; we had a lady who did tricks with hula hoops – the trick where she rolled the hoop perfectly back to the entrance curtains was one of my favourites; a magician leaving you thinking ‘how did they do that?’, particularly when he got a random kid from the audience to float!

A juggler who, apologies to the others, might just have been my favourite (only just though). He was mesmerizing to watch and apart from dropping one ball early, never faltered! Clearly, hours of practice had paid off to be able to juggle that many and then come back later and do similar tricks with, what looked like, tall ten-pin bowling pins – it made me want to go home and learn the tricks! Extra points to him for using ‘Bangarang’ by Skrillex as his song of his choice during his performance.

And, we can’t forget the charismatic Ringleader and the clown (a guy who clearly loves his job and excels at it), who held the whole show together brilliantly.

The show hasn’t changed much from last year, so if you’re expecting a bunch of new tricks, you’ll be disappointed and whilst it is clearly aimed at Primary School aged kids (particularly the jokes), it is literally, to use the well worn line, ‘fun for the whole family’!
