A popular Mount Gambier bakery is making its way to Adelaide for a special event this weekend. ScRoll Queen will be taking over Naughty Nannas Cookies on Hutt Street in a one-day pop-up event, so enthusiasts need to act fast! The two businesses are teaming up to offer double the usual delicious treats.
The doors will open at 9am on Saturday and will stay open until everything is sold out. Both businesses will present their top-selling ScRolls and cookies, along with coffees and thick shakes.
Bianca Mew, owner and founder of Naughty Nannas, expressed her excitement about ScRoll Queen’s takeover of her popular cookie store.
She reached out to ScRoll Queen’s Dylan McQueen after he launched a ‘Bring ScRoll Queen to Adelaide’ GoFundMe earlier this year, sharing his ambition to expand his two Mount Gambier stores into a nationwide franchise.
“When I heard about Dylan’s GoFundMe to come to Adelaide, I thought, why not invite him to take over Naughty Nannas for a weekend? It could be a fun and unique collaboration for Adelaide’s dessert lovers,” Ms. Mew said.
“Our brands have similar themes, and we both have a passion for sweet treats, so it was an obvious choice.”
Ms. Mew mentioned that if the event is successful, they might consider repeating it.
The announcement of the Adelaide takeover on ScRoll Queen’s Facebook page was met with great enthusiasm, prompting Mr. McQueen to remind eager customers that Saturday’s event is “first come, first served.”
